A bit of history
Ferdinand Portugall 1837 – 1901
Mayor of Graz. The lawyer, who obtained his doctor degree in 1863 in Graz, he was in municipal council from 1869, later member of state parliament and Reichsrat (Imperial Council). As mayor, Portugall also stood for the modernisation of the city at the beginning of the German nationalist era in the town hall. Graz got the Technical university, sewer network and was electrified.
As it can shown above, learning process in daily situations is extremely important. If there is no such opportunity, learning blogs, articles in German remains an alternative option to boost your German learning.
